How I Thought of Blogging - Story Behind It

Blogging isn't something that every normal person can do, not at least can he achieve something from it. It needs skill..."the skill of writing" to enhance the new ideas in an artistic and linguistic way..
That is  when I thought "Why cant I do it?"
The only talent which I possess (or maybe, I think so) is the skill of writing and I can write continuously for hours and pages if i am not disturbed by any external methods.  So when I woke up the other morning and sat in front of my PC wondering what to do, I realized it was time that I open up my own blog and start typing some hard sentences until the keys from my keyboard comes out!! Well, this blogging certainly would go on for a while and at last I am happy that I am able to put my thoughts on an external resource and also I am happy that I am using PC for a better purpose and not wasting my time sitting in front of Facebook and doing nothing!

Why do Women Cry?

"Why are you crying?" he asked his mom. "Because I'm a woman she told him. "I don't  understand," he said. His mum just hugged him and said, "And you never will".......

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cryfor no reason?" "All women cry for no reason" was all his dad could say.....

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to GOD; when GOD got on the phone, the man said "GOD, why do women cry so easily?" GOD said....

"When I made women she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort....

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children......

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.......

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt them very badly......

This same sensitivity helps her make a child's boo-boo feel better and shares in their teenagers anxieties and fears.......

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.......

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.....

I gave her a tear to shed, It's hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed. It is her only weakness....

It's a tear for mankind."

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the
doorway to herheart, the place wherelove resides.

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows and the beauty
of a woman with passing years- only grows!

Story - Encouragement!

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Moral: There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy. " Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present." Live the life to the fullest and moreover share your happy moments with others and make them happy. After all that is all we live for..Friends are a very rare jewel indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They land in ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us. So never fail them or break their trust..

Improve Self Confidence!

        Tips to Improve Self Confidence

Here are some quick tips to improve your Self Confidence. If we are committed to have a healthy self confidence there are many things you can do every day to boost your self confidence, each small steps that will help you to reach your goal. The good news is that self-esteem is not fixed and can be improved, try some of the steps below to boost your confidence and self-esteem.

1) Identify your successes. Everyone is good at something, so discover the things at which you excel, then focus on your talents. Give yourself permission to take pride in them. Give yourself credit for your successes. Inferiority is a state of mind in which you've declared yourself a victim. Do not allow yourself to be victimized.

2) Look in the mirror and smile. Studies surrounding what's called the "facial feedback theory" suggest that the expressions on your face can actually encourage your brain to register certain emotions. So by looking in the mirror and smiling every day, you might feel happier with yourself and more confident in the long run.

3) Exercise and eat healthy. Exercise raises adrenaline and makes one feel happier and healthier. It is certainly an easy and effective way to boost your self-confidence.

4) Turn feelings of envy or jealousy into a desire to achieve. Stop wanting what others have just because they have it; seek things simply because you want them, whether anybody else has them or not.

5) When you're feeling superbly insecure, write down a list of things that are good about you. Then read the list back. You'd be surprised at what you can come up with.

6) Don't be afraid to push yourself a bit - a little bit of pressure can actually show just how good you are!

7) You can try taking a martial arts or fitness class/course (or both). This will help build confidence and strength.

8) Invest in some new clothing and donate some of your old clothing to send a message to yourself that you both look sharp and feel sharp.

9) Try to make yourself talk positively at all times. When you hear yourself saying you can't do something, stop and say you can. Unless you try, you will never know whether you are able to or not.

10) Don't get wrapped up in your mistakes and dwell on bad points; they can contrast your good points or even give you something to improve. There's no feeling like being good at something you were really bad at.

11) Don't confuse what you have with who you are. People degrade their self worth when comparing possessions.

12) Surround yourself with nurturing friends, not overly critical individuals who make you feel inadequate or insecure. This could do great harm and damage to your self confidence.

Always remember "There is hair line crack between success and failure" Be sure to push your self a bit, who knows that bit may lead you to success

Compulsory Seat belts

You might have read this news in Times of India about the compulsory wearing of seat belts in car. Yes! according to rule U/S 138 CMVR r/w 177 MVA, the driver and the person seated in the front must wear the seat belts while the vehicle is in motion. The real panic now is why the other person has to wear the seat belt. The reason being simple... when the car crashes, the other person would not be saved on the plain reason that he is not driving the car i.e, death does not categorize and judge people according to their positions.

After the compulsion of helmets, RTO has taken another wonderful step in making transportation better and easier. If this rule is strictly enforced, and all the people start wearing seat belts without paying the fine of Rs. 100 then it is an advancement of our community and it is our hard work that is helping us to go one step forward in the development of the country.

Rules, especially the traffic rules are mostly made to save the our own. Then why is it people always come up with some negative reasons against the idea. I think this order is completely positive and I shall certainly follow it no matter what circumstance I might be in.. What do you think people ?!

For Further Information about the article from Times of India, follow the link Fasten seat belt or pay Rs.100 fine!

Light after Dark - Manjunath's Story

Ooh! Just wanted to praise Narayana Nethralaya for saving the day again!

Yes, Indeed it is one of the best eye hospitals that provides the best treatments to its patients. I raised this topic because just now I read an article in Bangalore Mirror that a boy named Manjunath G lost his precious eye sight after he waited eagerly watching a gas balloon come down which landed up in a huge crash and the helium cylinder exploded making the life of Manjunath dark forever.

Though Victoria hospital had confirmed that he couldn't see anymore, his father who had faith in God and hope in son's future decided to put him to Narayana Nethralaya which proved them that they are the mother of all the  hospitals. Dr. Himanshu P Matalia, who was able to remove the stones that was stuck in Manjunath's eye, along with  his other team mates told that the boy would recover soon. Manjunath who now has a hope towards new life and is blessed with new life and is in fact given a second chance to lead a normal life is happy that he could play with his friends.

It is indeed a great achievement of the doctors not only in Narayana Nethralaya but all the others who are present in the Health city and work in Narayana Hospitals. Recently Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, founder of Narayana Hrudayalaya in 2001 was awarded with Padma Bhushan award for his work recognised in the field of Medicine.

Any disease is treated in the Health city and the facilities and staff are very advanced and convincing. The advantage of these hospitals are that they have everything within their area and one need not go out for various checkups. Unlike other hospitals, the staff are very caring and nursing and do their duty with all their determination and love. The homely atmosphere and the clean environment is probably the main attraction for the patients from various countries.

One important fact that my father told me about the hospital was that we couldn't smell the phenol and syringe smell which is a common thing in almost all the hospitals! How fascinating!
Glad that we have such an hi-fie hospital in our country where even the poorest of poorest can afford!
AM A PROUD INDIAN!! LET THE TRICOLOR FLY HIGH IN THE SKY :)

Feeling of New Born Baby!

Ahh! welcoming myself to the great world of blogging! well it is a good feeling i have; since its just me and my family and my few friends i have here (until now and it might last for sometime!). But that has got nothing to do with me and yeah! this is the first step i am taking to promote myself in this big big world and get recognized and become visible to all the people who unless would have never known me or known to me!
Anyway from the past few days, several thoughts are disturbing my mind severely and keep pushing me to achieve something and for that i have no answers to myself. Making these stuff (the dreams) in real life is lot more complicated than what we imagine things to happen. Yes we practice lot and take lot of courage to enact something but the moment we come up with our turn..we fail! But my problem is not how i get things done correctly but WHAT THINGS do i have to make correct! currently i am blank.. but i will be back with new posts which would be interesting and well recreating. Keep visiting this page to find something new and you will all be surprised with something new every week and that is a promise I make on the day of the birthday of this blog!
